While emergency crews were scouring the neighborhood looking for brothers John and Matthew, the 2 and 3-year-old were busy ransacking their sleeping neighbor's home.
This reminds me of the time that Amanda and I went next door to have a tea party in the next-door-neighbor's camper trailer. When Crissy came over to ask if we'd been in there, I said I didn't know anything about it. As she offered Amy's play tea kettle and a toddler shoe as the reason for her suspicion, I told her that my 2- and 1-year old sisters must've snuck out without me. Amanda could open doors (and "child-proof" locks) at a very young age, after all!
